Hammer and Pickle,

RE: "Claiming the nature of the new venue and the stewarding had no effect is as ludicrous as saying there is no home advantage or travelling fans don't make a difference.

Yesterday's debacle was as clear an example of how the fans influence players' performance as you'll ever see, only this time the club is experimenting with pissing off the fans and demotivating the players."

So true. If the owners want to keep digging their hole even deeper, then, "...the club (which) is experimenting with pissing off the fans and demotivating the players", will also be 'experimenting' with relegation...

It's who your with not where you are.
If your surrounded by cunts your going to have a shit time. Has nothing to do with the venue only the state of mind of the people around you.

Re: RIP West Ham
The worrying thing for me and I'm sure many of you on here have the same thoughts but Watford were able to get into the Home end yesterday now I wanted to take my five year old son to the stadium as he is the future and sadly for the boy he lives with a fat Irish slob who supports Liverpool and tries to drum into my boy to support the victims.
But I will never ever take it him to a stadium where the away fans can gain access to the home crowd so easily and the "stewards" sit back and do nothing and haven't got a clue what they are doing.
Someone is gong to get killed by this shambles and I don't want my son witnessing this sort of shit.
My boy knows his West ham but when he will see them is another story.

Re: RIP West Ham
The stadium had nothing to do with Payet & Antonio's genius to put us 2 up and it had nothing to do with Adrian, Collins, Byram etc failing to do the most basic defending.

Just the same as UP not being at fault when we lost 4-1 against Swansea last season.

It's down to the players and the manager.

That being said I have tried to be positive about the new stadium as our home even in arguments with others on this site but now I just don't like it.

It bugs me that they can't sort out areas where people can just stand if they want to.
As far as I am concerned if you are in the lower tiers behind the goals then you should be able to stand and every supporter who has seats in those areas should realise that has always been the case so if you don't like it ask to move.

Also why can't they sort out that horrible shade of green turf around the pitch and get something that blends in more with the pitch?

Finally why can't they put some colour into those ugly concrete bits around the screens behind the goals?

Re: RIP West Ham
That was a second string side in that game, still no excuse though of course..

Let's see what happens, but my money says the players, fans and even Bilic don't feel at home which imo may effect results, and Noble doesn't look too happy either, but maybe that's just me.

And maybe I've missed it, but I haven't seen many, if any, quotes from Bilic and Noble saying how inspiring the stadium is etc. Wasn't that meant to be the general idea?

Shut up you idiot.

I've heard the staff are all fucked off and would leave if they could. Did your mate tell you that.

You don't get paid for this shit OtB, give it up.

We lost a two goal lead against Astra though.

Re: RIP West Ham
CH - We ddn't lose to Astra and we didn't lose a 2 goal lead, so not really the same. Let's see if we now recover and have great home form like last season. All I'm really saying is I think we have lost some 'home advantage' i don't think it's that much of an outlandish claim.

I'd agree if folk weren't fighting and walking out at 0-0.

It's fucked.

Re: RIP West Ham
We started this season like last season really. Bombed out of Europe and got turned over by a shit team at home. Difference is we nicked a couple of class away wins against top sides we didn't haven't done this season

Moving to a new ground, increasing our revenue so we can buy a better team is the only thing the stadium can bring. It doesn't make players make better decisions or technically better players.

It's a long season and we will will have some shit games like today. It's never been different.

Re: RIP West Ham
private, last season, that was the one where we lost our first two home games and drew with some crappy team from romania wasn't it.

THERE WERE EMPTY SEATS AT 15:10 and 15:25 and 15:35.

I'm now listening to some West Ham on the train talking about how it's empty.

Re: RIP West Ham
My issue with today and statement about the demise of the club had NOTHING THAT'S NOTHING about the result.

There were fights at 0-0.

If I was talking shit more people, proper people, would be jumping on and telling I'm wrong.

It's the usual faux elite cunts and dicksie, who I know is hurting as much as me over this, that are trying to weasel out of it.

No one can directly challenge my statement.

The place was half empty with 10 minutes to go. It's such a cunt of a multi purpose sports arena.
